Laurie Lee

Laurie Lee is Managing Partner of Trace Strategies, a firm she founded to fill a void in grass-tops and grassroots mobilization. Laurie is a leader in these areas along with government relations, public affairs and media outreach. She consistently provides winning strategies and solutions for Trace’s clients.

Lee was born and raised in Arkansas and has over 25 years of business and political experience. In that time Laurie helped build many coalitions, devise plans and execute strategies across multiple states to achieve the objectives of clients. Some of these include the Walton Family Foundation, Susan B Anthony List, American Petroleum Institute’s KeyStone Pipeline, Altria and many other state and local organizations.

Prior to forming Trace Strategies Laurie was a Senior Account Executive at Impact Management Group, a Little Rock based firm and before that with Southern Meridian, a partner of Meridian, a nationwide firm out of Sacramento, CA. At both firms she focused on political consulting, public affairs and government relations, advising political campaigns and non-profits. She also served as a field representative for American Majority, a national non-profit dedicated to building future political leaders, before being named the Arkansas Grassroots Director for Americans for Prosperity. Additionally she has been a co-host on several talk radio shows and a featured speaker across America.

In 2005 she helped organize political groups and grassroots organizations across Arkansas and the nation, mobilizing citizens to influence elections and policy decisions for her clients. Prior to her political career Laurie was the Membership Director of Associated Builders and Contractors of Arkansas and an owner of a construction company.

Laurie attended the University of Arkansas previous to spending four years in the U.S. Navy from 1987-1991.  While serving, she was one of the Navy’s first women to complete EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) training. Laurie went on to work for the Navy’s Marine Mammals Program, training whales, dolphins and sea lions.

She now lives in Little Rock, AR

Mark Biviano

Mark Biviano is currently a partner at Trace Strategies, a political and business consulting firm. Mark, a native Arkansan graduated from University of Arkansas with a degree in Finance. He has over 25 years of experience as a Fortune 50 corporate executive with extensive global and international business experience, serving as Vice President of Global Health for both Oracle and SAP. He also served two terms as an Arkansas State Representative to District 46. In his first term in the Arkansas House, Biviano served as the first Republican Chairman of the Freshman Caucus in Arkansas history and as the Policy Director for the House Republican Party.

As Policy Director he was responsible for strategy and leadership of the legislative agenda including leading the effort for the SIMPLE Plan during the 2012 session. Mr. Biviano was the sponsor for groundbreaking legislation in Arkansas that included the Private Option, and legislation establishing a not-for-profit state insurance exchange.

Mr. Biviano served as SAP’s Vice President of Global Healthcare Industry Business Unit where he was responsible for industry leadership and management in the development, design and deployment of healthcare solutions serving the insurance, provider and government markets. These included industry requirements, partner strategy, and go-to marketing plans that required support of all field training, and packaging on a global basis. He developed and articulated SAP’s key positioning and strategies to the healthcare community while serving as the industry business unit’s senior healthcare executive. He was responsible for driving all sales enablement and marketing programs, strategy, customer programs, thought leadership, press and analyst activities.

As Oracle’s Vice President Healthcare Solutions he was responsible for the strategic health initiatives including the startup and expansion of the Oracle vertical model to the US Health Market for payers, providers, and government markets. This included the creation and promotion of the Oracle healthcare value proposition and solution footprint to identify new revenue opportunities. He provided leadership and industry expertise, application functional knowledge, and strategic direction to the Oracle’s healthcare vertical and development groups.
