Laurie Lee is Managing Partner of Trace Strategies, a firm she founded to fill a void in grasstops and grassroots mobilization. Laurie is a leader in these areas along with government relations, public affairs and media outreach. She consistently provides winning strategies and solutions for Trace’s clients.

Lee was born and raised in Arkansas and has over 25 years of business and political experience. In that time, Laurie helped build many coalitions, devise plans and execute strategies across multiple states to achieve the objectives of clients. Some of these include the Walton Family Foundation, Susan B Anthony List, American Petroleum Institute’s KeyStone Pipeline, Altria and many other state and local organizations.

Prior to forming Trace Strategies Laurie was a Senior Account Executive at Impact Management Group, a Little Rock based firm as well as with Southern Meridian, a partner of a nationwide firm out of Sacramento, CA. At both firms she focused on political consulting, public affairs and government relations, advising political campaigns and non-profits. She also served as a field representative for American Majority, a national non-profit dedicated to building future political leaders, before being named the Arkansas Grassroots Director for Americans for Prosperity. Additionally she has been a co-host on several talk radio shows and a featured speaker across America.

In 2005, she helped organize political groups and grassroots organizations across Arkansas and the nation, mobilizing citizens to influence elections and policy decisions for her clients. Prior to her political career Laurie was the Membership Director of Associated Builders and Contractors of Arkansas and an owner of a construction company.

Laurie attended the University of Arkansas prior to spending four years in the U.S. Navy from 1987-1991.  While serving, she was one of the Navy’s first women to complete EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) training. Laurie went on to work for the Navy’s Marine Mammals Program, training whales, dolphins and sea lions.

She now lives in Little Rock, AR
